ON THE SCENE-Bay Bay Music Video

Hey and welcome back,recently there was a video shoot in New York City that I wanted to check out but do to my schedule I was unable too, but that did not stop me from getting an entry together for you guys. My BFF Major Chedda, an official correspondent for www.mochamoves.blogspot.com was on the scene. It was the "Ay Bay Bay" Remix video shoot and as per Chedda the shoot went well, she did not stay all night but from what she saw the celebs really came out to support the Down South movement. She hung out with our friend and favorite DJ, Mix Tape DJ of the year recipient DJ PCutta. He has a hot new mix tape out now "Go Hard Or Go Home". Notables that were on the set were Bay Bay the radio personality, Angie Loc (hot new artist), DJ Smurf (collie park) who makes hits for Ying Yang Twins and is also behind the Soldier Boy movement, The Lox and Pit Bull. Hot new clothing line Parish was also on the scene styling the shoot.So enjoy the pics.

ARTIST SPOTLIGHT -EDGARTISTA

Hey and thanks for coming back. While hanging out at Bogota I caught up with my new favorite artist Edgar Gonzalez. I love his work so I decided to put you on to a guy who is making some waves in the world of art. Edgar is originally from Guatemala but in 2005 he became a part of the Brooklyn family. His art work is really interesting I get lost in the picture ,it's so deep. I don't know how he does it, but he creates a whole new world on paper. He draws cities that are unknown to man, but his drawings look so real that you feel someone must have had to have visited it to draw it. So enjoy some of the pics.

EATING OUT-BOGOTA

Hey and welcome back. In one of my earlier posts, I think it's the one that I went to the Pool. I told you that I went to one of my favorite spots, Bogota to get some drinks. Well last night I didn't want to go to the club or anything like that so I decided to go to Bogota for happy hour, while there I decided to put together an entry to put you guys on to one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. Well here it goes, Bogota Latin Bistro is a restaurant in Park Slope Brooklyn that specializes in Central & South American cuisine with an emphasis on Columbian dishes. It was opened in July 2005 by Farid Ali(part Columbian) and George Costantinoe(part Costa Rican). Well I really like going to Bogota because of the drinks, there frozen margaritas are best I have ever tasted, and I swear it's like every time I go there it's Happy Hour. It is also one of the few places that I can go and not see anyone I know, so it's cool to hang out on the low..lol. The prices are great they even have stuff on the menu for $2 and you can get a Mojito for $4. They have what they call a Mojito Bar , there are all types of different fruity Mojitos like Strawberry and Guava. The people are great and so is the food , but I always get that Chicken Quissadillas( it has plantains inside). Every time I go there I feel like I am on vacation because they have Latin imported wines and beers. There is a real authentic feel there, all of the servers are Spanish and they have murals and flags everywhere. ON THE SCENE-HISTORY WAS MADE

Ok it's finally here, the entry that you have all been waiting for , my recap of the Sreeaaam Tour. Ok lets get started as usual everything that I go to is usually last minute. So I got some tickets for The Scream Tour at the Ciara in store event and I called up one of my girls to role with me. I asked a few of my other friends if they wanted to go but they were not that enthused about Ciara and TI. But you know me I feel that when I am around the unexpected happen, so I just told them cool I will let you know how it goes. I arrived to the concert in good time because I was in the area all day . When I say good time I mean only an hour late ..lol. I walked in on Young Joc performing, he looks like he definitely has been working out . He had PDiddy as his hype man and they were doing their thing. For some reason PDiddy was not shining like he usually does, he looked a little dated with a bright yellow leather jacket..lol.But he is Diddy so he can wear whatever her wants on stage with Young Joc..lol. After that TPain hit the stage and he was really good, his hype men had so much energy and they were dancing like a singing group.

After that DaBrat came out and introduced Roxci and Terrence from 106 and Park
Then came my girl Ciara and she did her thing ..stripper pole and all lol..But the crowd went crazy because she bought out 50cent and he killed it by performing his hit single "I get money" accompanied by Lloyd Banks and Yayo..but where was Buck?..lol



And then TI hit the stage he did his thing and he even bought out Wyclef and they killed it.

But as if the crowd did not get there money worth already(floor seats were only $69 and tickets were not sold out wow!) TI decided to show why he is the King of the South. He bought out JayZ to the stage everyone including myself started chanting HOVA! Hova!.Then Hova killed it and next thing you know there was Puff, Hova, TI and 50 on stage while we were still going nutz..Swiss Beats the Monster came out of no where with his smash "She aint got no money in Bank". Oh I can't wait until I figure out how to post some video on this site. The crowd was going wild and so was my friend who came with me ...The whole show started to feel surreal no one could believe there eyes. And then as if we were not going threw it enough ..Everyone started to really scream when they heard" AWWW AWWW AWWW Wait till I get my money right ohohoh" Kanye came on stage like a ball of energy and killed it . 50 cent was even caught up in the moment so much he was throwing up the Dynasty sign..and i got the pics to prove it ..lol.mediatakeout.com said that they heard it as a rumor , it is true cause mochamoves.blogspot.com is always really on the scene.

Oh yeah I was there too ..and I was proud to throw up the Diamond wearing the Rocawear hoodie I bought earlier that day.lol..

ON THE SCENE

Hey and welcome back. So my day started up really slow but who knew it would end so spectacular. I went to a Ciara in store event for Rocawear and it was fun, she looked great. While looking through the Rocawear section I saw allot of really nice pieces, they stepped it up. The logos were well placed and everything looked really tasteful. While I was there I even purchased a hoodie, that fit really good. You will see I wore it for the rest of the day..

I swear you might really start seeing me in allot more of these urban brands, they are looking hot. Especially this Apple Bottom dress, you can't deny that this dress is hot and it was just $75. And I am sure I am not the only hot girl feeling that way, watch all the fly girls start rocking the hood gear..lol..well maybe not..lol

Summer Fun -6 Flags

So as you can see my Summer is going well, but nothing made my summer more that going to Six Flags Great Adventure. Every Summer I am always mad that I did not get a chance to do my theme park thing. So this Summer when I was given 2 tickets to the Tea Bag Crew bus ride I could not pass it up. The Tea Bag Crew has a song that was poppin in Cancun for Memorial Weekend called "TEEE BAG" and you really don't want to know what it means..lol..One of the main guys behind the movement is DJ Self "The Prince on NY". The bus was poppin Big Don was the unofficial host and the drinks were flowing thanks to Buck(Selfish Music Group). They even had the woman that takes the pics for alltheparties.com on there doing her thing. I went on the craziest roller coaster "EL Toro" , I thought I was truly gonna die...OMG. One of the worst things about Six Flags are the long lines. I went on a Saturday so you know it was crazy. The only thing that saved me was the Fast Pass it is a pass that you buy for $250 and it allows 5 people to go on the ride from the exit, so no lines. It is not possible to go on more than two roller coasters in one day without that pass.
