SPOTLIGHT - KNICKS CITY DANCERS

Hey guys, I really wanted to write about The Knicks Dancers because they did there thing last night at the game. There is more on the game in the post below. My friend that I went to game with kept telling how hot they were. He was all about seeing the girls shake their tail feathers. So I decided to find out who these girls really are . The only Knicks dancer I was familiar with was Asia from the Pussy Cat Dolls. After doing a little more research I found out these girls are on the move and celebrating there 16th year at MSG. Amy a Knicks girl was featured in 50 Cents "I Get Money" video. What I found really cool was that during the game they announced the accomplishments of the Dancer, the said one was going to run a marathon and another was going to be in the Radio City Rockets. They also did a lot of video taping of them , so I looked into what all of the footage was for. I found out that these girls have their own show..lol. They had a show the was on their site called making of the Knicks City Dancers. It stems from this huge competition that was in June and was launched October 11th. It was really cool the had this big search with a long list of celebrity judges that includes Asia Nitollano (Pussy Cat Dolls and Former Knick Dancer), Lil Mama(Rapper),Misa Hylton(Stylist),and my girls Cicely and Olisa of NuStylz(Choreographers). When I worked with Missy Elliot the Nu Stylz girls were her back up dancers, big shout out to them. Here goes some pics that gathered for you guys..enjoy.

ON THE SCENE- THE NEW YORK KNICKS

Hey guys, how is it going? So the case is over and things seem to be back to normal for the Knicks. At least that is what I was told, so I decided it was safe for me to go a game and shed some light on team that is in need of some good PR. I went to the Knicks vs. The 76ers game last night. It was lots of fun to watch, but it kind of felt like I was in the club. I did not realize that all of these ball players party way too much. I recognized a few guys from the NY club scene that I did not even know was in the NBA..lol.Watching the 76ers play was a bore because their was no Allen Iverson. The Knicks on the other hand was on fire, Nate Robinson was the star of the night scoring 20pts all in the second half. While watching the game I kept looking over at Isaiah Thomas, and just thinking about how dumb he was for that Black B-word statement he admitted to saying. I had great floor seats so it was the best..lol.Brandy’s ex the starting forward for Knicks, Quintin Richardson was there but he was in a suit sitting out the game with a sore left ankle. Well the Knicks won 103 to 90. How exciting ,this is the second time they beat The 76ers in the Pre-Season.

THERE GOES NATE..HE IS THE SHORTEST ON THE TEAM..BUT I THINK HE GOT THE MOST UPS..LOL

OK CURRY ..DO YOUR THING..I ALWAYS SEE HIM AROUND IN THE CLUB..BUT I NEVER KNEW HE WAS ON THE KNICKS.

ON THE SCENE- MARIAH CAREY

Hey guys, welcome back. So it's Thursday which means the weekend is almost here. It has been a tough week for me because my Camera broke, but I am upgrading it today. I have been doing a lot of things but I was unable to document everything for you guys. But it's cool because I did get a few pics to share with you. So as you may know by now Mariah Carey was all over town talking about her new perfume M., which actually smells really good. I personally think that Mariah is lots of fun, but I have been hearing everyone around me saying that they don't like her. They were all just saying, she was hot when she first came out but she is too diva now. What do you guys think? I mean if people would pull out a marching band for me when I came to town I would let them..lol. I have noticed that all the other websites have pics of Mariah at her in store event, but no one gets the exclusives that MochaMoves do, because I am actually there. I will show you her elabrate VIP room, with the white carpet that was specially for her. So tell me what you think..Is it too much? Or just right for a Diva.

SO THIS IS HER DRESSING ROOM ..WITH HER SPECIAL FURNITURE ..THE CHAIR SAYS MARIAH CAREY ON IT..LOL..YOU KNOW IN ALL MY YEARS OF WORKING WITH CELEBS THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN ONE OF THOSE CHAIRS..YOU KNOW THE ONES YOU SEE IN THE MOVIES FOR STARS LIKE ELIZABETH TAYLOR..






MOCHAMOVES EXCLUSIVE SCOOP: AJ former host of 106 & Park was there. Trying to steal some of Mariah's shine..lol. He was looking really nice in a suit and taking pics with fans that remembered him. I took a pic of him so check back tomorrow..

EATING OUT - NEW CATS CAFE RESTAURANT BAR AND LOUNGE

Hey guys welcome back, as the weekend comes to an end , I decided to give you a little recap. Last night I went to a restaurant in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn to hang out with a few friends. I actually went to Sheepshead Bay High school so it was like revisiting my past. The restaurant that I went to is called New Cats Cafe, it is located by the water on the coolest strip in the Bay. It was lots of fun and I had a blast hanging with the Russians and saying "DA" all night..lol. The tiger shrimp was to die for, but there was a small problem when I ordered Salmon and they bougt the uncooked one out. Apparently I ordered the Salmon from the Cold Entree menu, other than that the food was great and I was drinking my amaretto sours all night. With that said enjoy the pics.

Hey guys welcome back, so the weekend is here and it looks beautiful outside. There is only one problem, this weather is driving me crazy . Although it is Fall I am not sure what to wear outside. I pulled all my boots out and got ready for the Fall weather but every time a wear boots I feel like I am dressed for the wrong season. Although it is nice outside, Halloween is hear and the weather will soon change for real and I don't want to get caught out there without the hottest Fall boots. That is why I went shopping at my favorite store Bergdorf Goodman. Below you will find some of the boots and shoes that I thought would be a great buy for the season.

ON THE SCENE-HOUSE OF DOLLAR BILL

Hey guys welcome back, hope this week is going well for you. As for me I am trying to recuperate from an event I went to Monday Night. I really try not to go out on Monday's because it makes the rest of the week so hard for me..lol.But you know I always need material for you guys so I look at it as work..lol. On my way home a friend of mine decided to make a stop in China Town to a restaurant that he called House of Dollar Bills. When we pulled of to the restaurant I was blown away, there were one dollar bills everywhere, and I mean everywhere. The House of Dollar Bill is a Chinese restaurant located in China Town at 69 Baynard St. The place is plastered with dollar bills , the ceiling the walls everywhere! Oh yeah the food is really good there, it is a great place for seafood lovers. When you go there try the Butterfly Shrimp or Shrimp fried rice. I loved this spot because it is open until 5am and two people can eat for $25..lol.

ON THE SCENE- FUR SHOW

Hey guys welcome back, is it just me or does this fall weather have you thinking about your new fur. Since it is always best to start checking for you new coat before Winter actually hits, I wanted to show you guys a few cool coats. I was recently in a fur and diamond show and the coats were amazing. The jewelry was also to die for, I had on a million dollar necklace ..WoW! The furs are from Macy's Fur Salon and the jewelry was provided by Iberjoya. The day after the fashion show I went shopping for a new fur coat. Hey guys welcome back, so the Fall is here and it is time to get out your Fall gear. I am so excited to go shopping for the new season. For all of those guys who have to go shopping for their Fall suits Uptown Magazine had a really cool event. They co hosted an evening with "The Tastemakers" Special guests included stylist, June Ambrose, and Common. The event was really cool, the panel talked about fashion and what men need to know when thy go shopping for suits. As always MochaMoves tries to bring you some behind the scenes pics, so I met up backstage with one of the assistant stylists working on event my girl Cathy . She gave me a preview of some of the falls hot new looks for men. The fashion show was an informal one, which means no runway. The sexy models stood up on displays for all to see.
